Guiding You Through Transformative Healing
The yutori approach
The Yutori Collective embodies the essence of “Yutori” a Japanese term that means intentionally slowing down to simply be, breathe, listen, and appreciate the beauty of life.
This collective embraces the philosophy of creating deliberate spaces for reflection and integration, creating an environment where individuals are not rushed but encouraged to be present with their current experience.
By prioritizing a slower, more thoughtful approach, the Yutori Collective seeks to cultivate a deeper connection with oneself and the world, emphasizing the importance of balance and intentionality in everyday life.

Our Team
Angela (She/Her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice (kindly note: she does not work as a LMFT while providing psilocybin services). She is professionally trained and integrates a range of therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Awareness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to guide clients through the healing process, addressing traumas, attachment disorders, ancestral burdens, and unprocessed emotions.
Angela is BIPOC, Ageism and LGBTQ+ affirming. She understands the unique challenges individuals face within these communities, and is committed to providing a space that embraces and validates each client’s identity and experiences.
Geoff’s exploration of entheogens for personal development began with Ayahuasca in 2015, later expanding to include Psilocybin, Ketamine, and Kambo. Through the practices of breathwork, the integrating psychedelic experiences, and therapeutic shadow work he has overcome debilitating depression, learned helplessness, ruminating thoughts, and social isolation. His experience in the healing potential of these modalities fuels his work and passion for sharing the transformative power of self- growth and connection.
As a facilitator, Geoff approaches each client with openness to the unique paths we all take. His facilitation style is defined by his empathy, respect for each individual's journey, and a commitment to creating an inclusive and expressive environment. Geoff’s work is informed by a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, ensuring his methodologies remain current and effective.
Emily holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, is a certified psychedelic facilitator, and Co-Founder of the Psychedelic Pharmacists Association. She’s trained as a trauma-informed professional using the Neuroaffective Relational Model (NARM) framework, and has dedicated extensive time to studying psychology, philosophy, and spirituality. Emily believes in the power of psychedelic medicine to catalyze personal growth and healing.
With over 13 years of experience in the healthcare field, she’s witnessed firsthand the shortcomings of a system that often treats symptoms rather than addressing the root causes of mental health conditions. She is dedicated to creating safe, supportive environments where individuals can explore their inner landscapes and unlock their authentic parts of themself. Emily is deeply influenced by existential philosophy, Taoism, and Carl Jung’s shadow work, enhancing her ability to guide others through their transformative experiences. For the past five years, she has dedicated herself to personal healing using plant medicines.

The Process
Intention is what you intend to bring into and get out of the ceremony. It is said that once you decide to take part in a psychedelic session, the session has begun. An intention can be a simple as “I want to be prepared and open to what the medicine wants to show me” or as focused as “I want to integrate a specific core wound that I experienced as a child.”
Preparation for a psilocybin journey involves several key steps to ensure a safe, meaningful, and transformative experience. It’s important to approach the experience with a positive, open, and curious mindset.
In the days and weeks before a ceremony, it is important to meditate, exercise, limit media, and eat well in preparation for the ceremony, as a means of developing connection with the self.
Integration is how we take what is learned/experienced during the ceremony make sense of it, and turn it into something positive in our lives. This can come in many forms and is best that it does. Simply talking about the experience, making art expressing the experience, journaling, turning the lessons (or downloads) into a specific changes in your life are all examples of integration.
